Born in Jamaica and raised in London, Jah Shaka has always been a fervent defender of Rastafarian values. In fact, he has made a major contribution to the spread of this culture beyond Jamaica's borders. His stage name, inspired by the Zulu emperor Shaka, reflects his warrior spirit and his attachment to his African roots.
